Anonymous (band)

Anonymous is a Luxembourgish rock band, best known for representing Luxembourg in the Eurovision Song Contest 2011 with the song "San Marino (Maybe Next Year)".

The band is composed of four high school students: Marc Thomé (drums), David Galassi (guitar), Julien Ditz (vocals/guitar), and Eric Centaro (bass). They formed in 2006 while attending the Lycée Michel Lucius in Luxembourg City.

Anonymous gained recognition through their participation in the Eurovision Song Contest. Their song, "San Marino (Maybe Next Year)", was notable for its humorous and self-deprecating lyrics about San Marino's repeated lack of success in the competition. Despite its popularity, the song failed to qualify for the grand final.

Following their Eurovision experience, Anonymous continued to perform and release music. They have been involved in various local music projects and events within Luxembourg. While they did not achieve widespread international fame, they remain a known entity within the Luxembourgish music scene, particularly remembered for their Eurovision performance.
