Career

Jovanović began his professional career in Serbia, playing for clubs such as FK Radnički Beograd and FK Hajduk Kula. He then moved abroad, playing in various European leagues including stints in Switzerland, Romania, and Cyprus. Throughout his career, he was primarily known for his role as a centre-back, contributing to his teams' defensive solidity.

He played for FC Wil 1900 in Switzerland, FC Vaslui in Romania, and Ermis Aradippou in Cyprus, among other clubs.
