A2 motorway (North Macedonia)

The A2 motorway is a motorway in North Macedonia that connects the capital city of Skopje with the cities of Tetovo, Gostivar, and Kičevo. It forms a significant part of the country's road network, facilitating transport and trade within North Macedonia and connecting it with neighboring countries. The A2 motorway is part of the European route E65.

The motorway is predominantly a two-lane dual carriageway, although sections, particularly closer to Skopje, may have three lanes in each direction. Ongoing infrastructure projects have aimed to upgrade and expand the motorway to improve traffic flow and safety. Construction and maintenance of the A2 are typically overseen by the national government through its relevant agencies responsible for road infrastructure.
