25th Armored Division (United States)

The 25th Armored Division was a training division of the United States Army, activated in 1943 during World War II. It was never deployed overseas and primarily served as a replacement training unit (RTU), responsible for preparing and training soldiers for service in existing armored divisions.

The division was activated at Camp Campbell, Kentucky, and its primary mission was to train new recruits in armored warfare tactics and vehicle maintenance.
