1952 U.S. Open (golf)

The 1952 U.S. Open was the 52nd U.S. Open, held June 12–15 at the Northwood Club in Dallas, Texas. Julius Boros won his only U.S. Open title, defeating amateur Jack Burke Jr. in an 18-hole playoff after they tied at 287 (+3). This was the first time a U.S. Open playoff was conducted using the same course as the main tournament.
