152d Depot Brigade (United States)
The 152d Depot Brigade was a unit of the United States Army during World War I. Activated as part of the National Army (also known as the National Guard during that era), it was responsible for receiving, training, and forwarding draftees to combat divisions. The brigade was stationed at Camp Upton, New York. Depot brigades were a key component of the American Expeditionary Forces' (AEF) mobilization effort, providing a standardized system for processing and preparing new soldiers for deployment to Europe. The 152d Depot Brigade, like other depot brigades, played a vital role in rapidly building the U.S. Army and supplying manpower to the front lines. Following the armistice, the brigade was demobilized.
