Ōsawa Station (Yamagata)

Ōsawa Station (大沢駅, Ōsawa-eki) is a railway station on the Ōu Main Line (also known as the Yamagata Line) in Ōishida, Yamagata Prefecture, Japan, operated by East Japan Railway Company (JR East).

Ōsawa Station is served by the Ōu Main Line (Yamagata Line), and is located 113.7 rail kilometers from the starting point of the line at Fukushima Station.

Station Layout

The station has one side platform serving a single bi-directional track. The station is unstaffed. There is a waiting room but no ticket vending machine.

History

Ōsawa Station opened on December 15, 1951. With the privatization of Japanese National Railways (JNR) on April 1, 1987, the station came under the control of JR East.
