Łukta (river)
The Łukta is a river located in the Warmian-Masurian Voivodeship in northern Poland. It is a right tributary of the Pasłęka River. The Łukta's source is near the village of Zawady. The river flows generally north through a largely agricultural landscape, passing through several small villages. The length of the Łukta is approximately 25 kilometers. Its river basin forms part of the larger Pasłęka basin, ultimately draining into the Vistula Lagoon (Zalew Wiślany) and the Baltic Sea. The Łukta is known for its relatively clean water and supports a variety of aquatic life. It is also a popular destination for kayaking and canoeing.
