Christian Jensen (born November 24, 1970) is a Danish politician who served as a Member of the Folketing, the Danish Parliament, from 2011 to 2015, representing the liberal party Venstre.
Early Life and Career Born in Hjørring, Denmark, Jensen initially trained and worked as a carpenter. His engagement in public service began at the municipal level, establishing a foundation for his later national political career.
Political Career Jensen first entered local politics when he was elected to the Hjørring Municipal Council in 2007, serving as a council member until 2011. In the 2011 Danish general election, he successfully secured a seat in the Folketing, representing the North Jutland constituency for the Venstre party. During his four-year term in parliament, Jensen was active in several committees, often focusing on issues pertinent to local government, regional development, and housing. He was recognized for bringing a perspective rooted in municipal affairs to the national legislative body. He ran for re-election in the 2015 general election but did not succeed in retaining his parliamentary seat.
