Zádolí is a municipality and village located in the Ústí nad Orlicí District within the Pardubice Region of the Czech Republic. It is situated in the eastern part of Bohemia, approximately 6 kilometers south of the town of Vysoké Mýto.
Geography and Demographics The municipality covers an area of approximately 4.25 square kilometers and lies at an elevation of 432 meters above sea level. It is characterized by a rural landscape typical of the Vysoké Mýto region. As of January 1, 2023, the population was recorded at 98 inhabitants. The municipality comprises two administrative parts: the village of Zádolí and the village of Stříhanov.
History Historical documentation first mentions the village of Zádolí in 1454. Throughout its history, the settlement has maintained a primarily agricultural character. It currently functions as an independent administrative unit within the Pardubice Region.
Administration Zádolí is governed by a municipal council and a mayor. It is a member of the Vysokomýtsko Microregion, a voluntary association of municipalities focused on regional development, infrastructure, and tourism.
