Yuna Kim

Yuna Kim (김연아, Gim Yeona), also known as Queen Yuna, is a retired South Korean competitive figure skater. She is widely regarded as one of the greatest figure skaters of all time, known for her exceptional artistry, technical precision, and captivating performances.

Kim is the 2010 Olympic champion and 2014 Olympic silver medalist in ladies' singles. She is also the 2009 and 2013 World champion, the 2009 Four Continents champion, a three-time Grand Prix Final champion (2006–2007, 2007–2008, 2009–2010), and a six-time South Korean national champion (2003, 2004, 2005, 2006, 2013, 2014).

Kim's achievements extended beyond medals. She consistently achieved high scores under the International Skating Union (ISU) Judging System, setting multiple world records throughout her career. She was a major force in popularizing figure skating in South Korea and continues to be an influential figure in the sport as a role model and ambassador.

Beyond her athletic accomplishments, Kim is also recognized for her philanthropic endeavors. She has been involved in various charitable activities, including supporting UNICEF and promoting sports development in South Korea. She served as an ambassador for the 2018 Pyeongchang Winter Olympics.
