Yumemiru Adolescence

Yumemiru Adolescence is a Japanese female idol group formed in June 2012. Often abbreviated as "YumeAdo," the group was established by the talent agency Tambourine Artists. The original lineup consisted primarily of fashion models who were active in the teen magazine Pichi Lemon.

The group’s concept initially focused on the transition from adolescence to adulthood, often utilizing the slogan "Cuteness is justice." They began their activities performing at various live venues in Tokyo and released their first indie single, "Hajimete no Kagayaki," in 2012. After a period of independent releases and growing popularity within the Japanese idol scene, the group made their major label debut in 2015 with Sony Music Associated Records with the single "Bye Bye My Days."

Over the course of its history, Yumemiru Adolescence has undergone several changes in its membership. The original core members included Karin Ogino, Akari Yamada, Kyoka, Rei Kobayashi, and Kanami Shida. As is common in the Japanese idol industry, members have graduated from the group to pursue solo careers in acting, modeling, or other entertainment fields, while new members have been added through auditions.

Musically, the group’s repertoire is predominantly J-pop, featuring collaborations with various established musicians and songwriters. Their discography includes multiple studio albums, such as First Flight and Yumemiru Adolescence, along with numerous singles that have appeared on the Oricon charts. The group remains active in the Japanese entertainment industry through live performances, media appearances, and promotional events.
