Yoel Dov-Ber Perski (c. 1930s – 2017) was a prominent [[Chabad-Lubavitch]] [[Hasidism|Hasidic]] rabbi and [[Mashpia]] (spiritual mentor) known for his profound spiritual guidance and dedication to the dissemination of Chabad philosophy. He was a highly respected figure within the Chabad community, particularly in [[Israel]].

Born in the [[Soviet Union]], Perski endured the challenges faced by religious Jews under Communist rule. He was a student of the renowned Mashpia Rabbi Nissan Nemanov and was deeply influenced by the teachings and leadership of the [[Rebbe (Chabad)|Lubavitcher Rebbe]], Rabbi [[Menachem Mendel Schneerson]].

Rabbi Perski served for many years as a Mashpia in various Chabad [[Yeshiva|yeshivas]] in Israel, notably at the Yeshiva Gevoha (Senior Yeshiva) in [[Kiryat Gat]]. In this role, he was responsible for the spiritual development and guidance of hundreds of students, imparting to them the principles of Chabad [[Chassidus]] (Hasidic philosophy) and a fervent commitment to divine service. His classes and [[Farbrengen|farbrengens]] (Hasidic gatherings) were highly regarded for their depth, warmth, and practical application of Chabad teachings to daily life.

He was known for his humility, his unwavering faith, and his ability to connect with students on a personal level, helping them navigate spiritual and personal challenges. Rabbi Perski's legacy continues through his many students who have gone on to become rabbis, educators, and community leaders around the world. He passed away in Kiryat Gat, Israel, in 2017.
