Yegor Mikhailov

[[File:Yegor_Mikhailov_ice_hockey.jpg|thumb|right|Yegor Mikhailov playing for [[Ak Bars Kazan]] (example image)]] Yegor Mikhailov (Russian: Егор Михайлов; born December 14, 1987) is a retired Russian professional [[ice hockey]] [[right wing]]. He played in the [[Kontinental Hockey League]] (KHL) for numerous clubs throughout his career, most notably winning the [[Gagarin Cup]] with [[Ak Bars Kazan]] in 2010.

Playing Career

Mikhailov began his professional ice hockey career within the Russian junior system, making his debut for [[Dizel Penza]] in the [[Russian Major League]] (Vysshaya Liga) during the 2004–05 season. He quickly established himself as a promising offensive player.

In 2007, Mikhailov moved to the top-tier Russian league, then known as the [[Russian Superleague]] (RSL), joining [[HC Dynamo Moscow]]. With the formation of the [[Kontinental Hockey League]] (KHL) in 2008, he continued to play in Russia's premier league.

A significant highlight of Mikhailov's career came during the 2009–10 season when he played for [[Ak Bars Kazan]]. He contributed to their championship run, helping the team secure the [[Gagarin Cup]], the KHL's ultimate prize.
