Description
Xerochrysum wilsonii is a perennial herbaceous plant native to southeastern Australia. Like other members of the genus, it produces compact capitula (flower heads) surrounded by papery, often brightly coloured involucral bracts that give the plant a “everlasting” appearance. The leaves are generally linear to lanceolate, and the stems are slender and may be erect or slightly reclining. Detailed morphological measurements (e.g., bract length, leaf dimensions) vary among populations and are not uniformly documented in the primary literature.
Distribution and Habitat
