Xeranoplium pubescens is a species of beetle in the family Cerambycidae (longhorn beetles), subfamily Cerambycinae, tribe Hesperophanini. It was described by the entomologists John A. Chemsak and Edmund F. Giesbert in 1986.

Type Specimen and Locality
The holotype specimen (male) was collected in Mexico, Jalisco, at the Estación de Biología Chamela (UNAM), between 8–16 July 1985, by J. Chemsak, H. Katsura, and A. & E. Michelbacher, collected at light. The holotype is deposited at UNAM (Instituto de Biología, Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México). Paratypes are held at the Essig Museum of Entomology (UC Berkeley, California) and the California Academy of Sciences (formerly the Frank T. Hovore collection).
Distribution
The species is recorded from Mexico (Jalisco). It is a Neotropical species.
Description
As a member of the genus Xeranoplium and the tribe Hesperophanini, this is a longhorn beetle. The specific epithet pubescens (Latin for "hairy" or "downy") likely refers to the presence of fine hairs or pubescence on the body.
