Worthing is a small village and civil parish in the English county of Norfolk. It is located approximately 5 miles (8.0 km) south of the market town of East Dereham and 15 miles (24 km) west-north-west of the city of Norwich. The village lies within the Breckland district.
History
Worthing has a documented history stretching back to the Domesday Book of 1086, where it was recorded as "Orthinga." At this time, it was already an established agricultural settlement. Throughout the centuries, the village remained predominantly rural, with its economy centred on farming and the surrounding agricultural land. Its small size meant it largely avoided significant industrial development, preserving its traditional character.

By the 2011 Census, the population had marginally increased to 109 people across 47 households.
