Wood Enderby is a small village and civil parish in the East Lindsey district of Lincolnshire, England. It is situated approximately 5 miles (8 km) south-east of Horncastle, and close to the River Bain. The parish includes the hamlet of Claxby Pluckacre.
The village has a history dating back to at least the Domesday Book of 1086, where it is recorded. Its name likely derives from Old English, combining "wudu" (wood) and "Enderby," the latter indicating a homestead or settlement belonging to a person named Endr. The area's primarily agricultural character has persisted throughout its history.
