William Russell (1860 – 1930) was an Australian politician who served in the South Australian House of Assembly.
Born in County Clare, Ireland, in 1860, Russell emigrated to Australia. Prior to his political career, he worked as a pastoralist and miner.
Russell was a member of the United Labor Party, which later became the Australian Labor Party. He was first elected to the South Australian House of Assembly, representing the Northern Territory electorate from 1905 until 1910. Following the Northern Territory's transfer to Commonwealth control in 1911, Russell was subsequently elected to represent the Albert electorate in the South Australian House of Assembly, serving from 1912 to 1915.
William Russell died in 1930.
