William J. Cunningham (born January 23, 1907, died July 25, 1985) was an American politician from Illinois. He served as a Democratic member of the Illinois House of Representatives from 1967 to 1977, representing the 13th district. Prior to his service in the state legislature, Cunningham was a trial lawyer. He resided in Chicago during his political career. He was a member of the Illinois Bar Association. His legislative work focused on issues related to the judiciary and local government. He also served on various committees related to appropriations and revenue.
