Will Chambers

Will Chambers (born 11 December 1990) is an Australian former professional rugby league and rugby union footballer. He is best known for his tenure with the Melbourne Storm in the National Rugby League (NRL) and for playing for the Queensland Reds in Super Rugby.

Early life and education
Born in Brisbane, Queensland, Chambers attended St. Joseph's College, Gregory Terrace, where he played rugby league and represented the Australian Schoolboys team.

Rugby league career
Chambers made his NRL debut with the Melbourne Storm in 2009, playing primarily as a centre and occasionally as a wing or fullback. He remained with the Storm until the end of the 2015 season, contributing to the club’s 2012 and 2013 premiership victories. During his initial NRL stint, Chambers also represented Queensland at the under‑20 level and participated in the 2010 World Club Challenge.

Rugby union career
In 2015, Chambers switched codes to rugby union, signing with the Queensland Reds for the 2016 Super Rugby season. He played as a centre and was part of the Reds' squad through the 2017 season.

Return to rugby league
Chambers returned to the Melbourne Storm for the 2018 NRL season, adding depth to the backline. He played intermittently over the 2018–2020 seasons before announcing his retirement from professional sport at the conclusion of the 2020 season.

Post‑retirement
