Werner Hardmo

Werner Hardmo (21 March 1918 – 3 April 2010) was a Swedish road cyclist. He is primarily known for representing Sweden at the 1948 Summer Olympics in London.

Career

Hardmo competed in two cycling events at the 1948 London Olympics:

  • The men's individual road race
  • The men's team road race

In the individual road race, he finished in 25th place. The Swedish team, which included Hardmo along with Stig Johansson, Harry Snell, and Sven-Erik Lundqvist, finished in 6th place in the team road race. His participation marked him as one of Sweden's elite amateur cyclists during that era.

Personal Life

Werner Hardmo was born on March 21, 1918. He passed away on April 3, 2010, at the age of 92.
