Weiler bei Monzingen is a municipality (Ortsgemeinde) in the district of Bad Kreuznach in the state of Rhineland-Palatinate, in western Germany. It belongs to the Verbandsgemeinde Nahe-Glan (formerly Bad Sobernheim).
Geography
The village lies in a small side valley of the Nahe River, surrounded by vineyards and fields, at an elevation of approximately 210 meters above sea level. The area of the municipality covers 5.87 km² (2.27 sq mi), of which about 128 hectares are forested.
History and Name
The name "Weiler" derives from the German word for a small hamlet or settlement. The suffix "bei Monzingen" (meaning "near Monzingen") distinguishes it from other places named Weiler. The village has historically been shaped by viticulture, which remains a defining feature of the local economy and landscape.

Economy and Tourism
The municipality is known as a wine village (Weindorf). The region is part of the Nahe wine-growing area. Numerous well-maintained hiking trails pass through the area, including the well-known "Weinwanderweg – Mittlere Nahe" (Wine Hiking Trail – Middle Nahe), which offers scenic views over the Nahe valley. Visitors can find guesthouses, holiday apartments, and wine taverns (Straußwirtschaften) serving local wines and regional cuisine.
