WCLO-TV

WCLO-TV is not a widely recognized or currently operational television station. The term is not associated with an established contemporary media outlet, and there are limited reliable encyclopedic sources documenting its history.

Historical records indicate that WCLO-TV was a proposed television station assigned to Janesville, Wisconsin, in the early 1950s. Southern Wisconsin Radio, Inc., the licensee of WCLO radio, was granted a construction permit by the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) to operate on UHF channel 57. While the call sign was officially assigned, the station never transitioned to active broadcasting. Due to the economic and technical difficulties associated with UHF broadcasting during that period, the construction permit was surrendered or deleted, and the station never commenced operations.

There is no evidence of the call sign WCLO-TV being utilized by any active television broadcaster in the modern era. Consequently, comprehensive data regarding its programming, facilities, or corporate structure is unavailable.
