Włodzimierz Matuszyński (born 8 August 1948 in Poznań, Poland) is a Polish former field hockey player, coach, and sports official. He competed in the men's tournament at the 1972 Summer Olympics in Munich.
Biography
Matuszyński graduated from the Zespół Szkół Geodezyjno-Drogowych im. Rudolfa Modrzejewskiego (School of Geodesy and Road Engineering) in Poznań in 1968. He played as a midfielder for the Poznań clubs Grunwald Poznań and Pocztowiec Poznań. He was a Polish national champion in 1966 (with Grunwald Poznań) and in 1979, 1981, 1982, and 1983 (with Pocztowiec).
International career
Matuszyński earned 67 caps for the Poland national field hockey team, scoring 4 goals. He participated in the 1975 World Championships in Kuala Lumpur and the 1974 European Championships in Madrid, where the Polish team was eliminated in the quarterfinals. At the 1972 Summer Olympics in Munich, he was a member of the Polish squad that finished 11th in the tournament.
Coaching and administrative career
After retiring from competitive play, Matuszyński became a coach and sports administrator. He served as head coach of Pocztowiec Poznań from 1984 to 1987. Since 1992, he has been a member of the board of the Polish Field Hockey Association (PZHT).

Matuszyński stands 186 cm tall. His nickname is "Czarli." By profession, he is a geodesist (surveyor).
