Vromance (Korean: 브로맨스) is a South Korean vocal quartet formed by RBW Entertainment in 2016. The group's name is a portmanteau of "vocal" and "romance," signifying their focus on romantic and harmonious vocal performances. They are primarily known for their powerful vocal abilities and contributions to the R&B and ballad genres.
History
Prior to their official debut, the members of Vromance garnered experience within the music industry as vocal trainers, session vocalists, and demo singers for other artists. This background contributed to their strong vocal techniques and their comprehensive understanding of music production and performance. Their talent was recognized within the industry even before their formal introduction as a group.
Debut and Career
Vromance made their official debut on July 12, 2016, with their first extended play (EP), The Action, featuring the lead single "She". Preceding their debut, the group attracted attention through a collaboration with fellow RBW labelmates Mamamoo on the track "Melted". Since their debut, Vromance has consistently released music, including singles and participation in numerous original soundscapes (OSTs) for various television dramas, showcasing their vocal versatility and ability to convey emotion through song. They are particularly praised for their live performances and their intricate vocal harmonies.
