Vladas Garastas is a Lithuanian former professional basketball player and a prominent basketball coach, known for his leadership of the Lithuania men’s national basketball team and several club teams in the Lithuanian Basketball League (LKL).

Born on September 19 1958 in Šilutė, then part of the Lithuanian Soviet Socialist Republic, Garantas began his playing career as a point guard in the Soviet leagues, most notably with Žalgiris Kaunas.
