Vince Danielsen (born October 14, 1961) is a Canadian former professional ice hockey player who played primarily as a right wing. He played for the Philadelphia Flyers in the National Hockey League (NHL) during the 1982–83 and 1983–84 seasons.
Early Life and Junior Career Danielsen was born in Prince Albert, Saskatchewan, Canada. He played junior hockey for the Prince Albert Raiders in the Saskatchewan Junior Hockey League (SJHL) and later for the Regina Pats and the Saskatoon Blades in the Western Hockey League (WHL). His performance in junior hockey attracted the attention of NHL scouts.
Professional Career Danielsen was drafted by the Philadelphia Flyers in the 4th round, 83rd overall, of the 1980 NHL Entry Draft. He turned professional in the 1981–82 season, spending most of his time with the Maine Mariners, the Flyers' American Hockey League (AHL) affiliate.
He made his NHL debut with the Flyers during the 1982–83 season, playing in 14 games. He also appeared in 10 NHL games in the 1983–84 season. Throughout his professional career, Danielsen primarily played in the AHL for the Maine Mariners and later the Springfield Indians, where he was a consistent offensive contributor.
Retirement Danielsen's professional playing career concluded after the 1984–85 season.
