Village Green is a hamlet and census-designated place (CDP) in Onondaga County, New York, United States. As of the 2020 census, the population was 3,834.
Geography
Village Green is located in the eastern part of the town of Van Buren, at coordinates 43°7′54″N 76°18′31″W. According to the United States Census Bureau, the CDP has a total area of 1.16 square miles (3.01 km²), of which 1.15 square miles (2.99 km²) is land and 0.0077 square miles (0.02 km²) is water. The community lies south of the Seneca River and southeast of Baldwinsville. Most of the community is situated between Interstate 690 and New York State Route 48.

2020 Census
As of the 2020 census, Village Green had a population of 3,834. The median age was 41.4 years. 15.2% of residents were under the age of 18, and 20.0% were 65 years of age or older. There were 2,027 households, of which 30.0% were married-couple households, 24.3% were households with a male householder and no spouse or partner present, and 35.6% were households with a female householder and no spouse or partner present. Approximately 43.9% of all households were made up of individuals.
The racial composition was 90.2% White, 2.4% Black or African American, 0.7% American Indian and Alaska Native, 0.7% Asian, 0.1% Native Hawaiian and Other Pacific Islander, 0.6% some other race, and 5.4% two or more races. Hispanic or Latino (of any race) comprised 3.2% of the population.
2000 Census
At the 2000 census, the population was 3,945, with 1,896 households and 1,033 families. The population density was 3,227.6 inhabitants per square mile. The racial makeup was 96.76% White, 1.04% African American, 0.23% Native American, 0.74% Asian, 0.33% from other races, and 0.91% from two or more races. The median household income was $43,243, and the per capita income was $23,559. About 6.2% of the population was below the poverty line.
