Viennacontemporary

viennacontemporary is an international fair for contemporary art in Vienna, Austria. It was first organized in 2015, rebranded from the earlier VIENNAFAIR (established in 2012). From 2015 to 2020, the fair took place annually in the fourth week of September at the Marx Halle in Vienna's third district. In 2021, it was held at Neue Alte Post, and from 2022 onward, it regularly took place in September at the Kursalon Vienna in Stadtpark, in the center of Vienna. In 2024, the fair moved to Messe Wien, Exhibition Hall D.

The fair focuses on Central and Eastern Europe while also presenting international and Austrian galleries showcasing both emerging and established positions in contemporary art. It is accompanied by a series of supporting events held in cooperation with Austrian museums and other art institutions, intended to promote Vienna's role as a center for contemporary art and culture.
