Victor Sá

Victor Sá (born March 27, 1994) is a Brazilian professional footballer who plays as a winger for Russian Premier League club FC Krasnodar.

Early Life and Career

Born in Presidente Prudente, São Paulo, Victor Sá began his youth career in the academies of several Brazilian clubs, including Palmeiras. He started his senior career in Brazil before moving abroad to Europe.

Club Career

  • Early European Career (Austria): Victor Sá moved to Austria in 2014, joining FC Lustenau. He subsequently played for SV Kapfenberg and LASK, where he established himself as a prominent attacker in the Austrian leagues. His performances with LASK, particularly in the 2016-2017 season, caught the attention of larger European clubs.
  • Borussia Mönchengladbach: In 2017, Sá transferred to German Bundesliga club Borussia Mönchengladbach. He made appearances for the first team in the Bundesliga and DFB-Pokal, gaining experience in one of Europe's top leagues.
  • Al-Wahda: After his spell in Germany, Sá moved to Saudi Arabia, joining Al-Wahda FC in 2019. He spent two seasons with the club, featuring regularly in the Saudi Pro League.
  • Botafogo: In 2022, Victor Sá returned to his home country, Brazil, signing with Botafogo. He quickly became a key player for the Rio de Janeiro-based club, contributing significantly to their campaigns in the Campeonato Brasileiro Série A and other domestic competitions. His time at Botafogo was marked by consistent performances and goal contributions.
