Vashan (Persian: واشان, also Romanized as Vāshān) is a village in Samen Rural District, Samen District, Malayer County, Hamadan Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 1,433, in 294 families.
The village is located at coordinates 34°05′49″N 48°42′21″E. It lies within the Samen District (Bakhsh) of Malayer County, in the western part of Iran. The time zone is UTC+3:30 (IRST), with daylight saving time observed as UTC+4:30 (IRDT).
Administratively, Vashan is part of the Samen Rural District (Dehestan), which is a subdivision of Samen District. The county seat of Malayer County is the city of Malayer, located in Hamadan Province.
