Valentin Lazăr (born 21 August 1989) is a Romanian professional footballer who plays as a winger. Known for his speed and dribbling abilities, he has spent the majority of his career in Romania, with notable spells at Petrolul Ploiești and Dinamo București, and also played abroad in Qatar.
Club Career
Early Career
Lazăr began his senior career at Concordia Chiajna, where he rose through the youth ranks. He made his professional debut with the club and quickly established himself as a promising talent.
Petrolul Ploiești
In 2012, Lazăr transferred to his hometown club, Petrolul Ploiești. This move marked a significant period in his career. With Petrolul, he was an integral part of the team that won the Cupa României (Romanian Cup) in the 2012–13 season, securing a memorable trophy for the club. His performances also helped Petrolul qualify for European competitions.
Dinamo București
Following his successful spell at Petrolul, Lazăr moved to one of Romania's traditional powerhouses, Dinamo București, in 2014.
