Vaade Veedu (transl. This Man is That Man) is a 1973 Indian Telugu‑language comedy‑drama film. Produced by N. Ramabrahmam under the Sri Gowthami Pictures banner, the film was directed by D. Yoganand and written by D. V. Narasa Raju. The musical score was composed by Satyam.
Plot
The story follows the zamindar Jaganadham, whose wealth is usurped by his manager Kodandam. After Jaganadham’s death, his heir Rambabu is kidnapped by a thief, who raises the child as his own under the name Kondadu. As an adult, Kondadu moves to the city, where he becomes entangled in a series of misunderstandings involving Savitri, Kodandam’s alleged daughter, and Shantamma, Jaganadham’s widow. The narrative culminates in Kondadu revealing his true identity, restoring the family’s fortunes, and marrying Savitri.
