The Urgal Coal Mine is a conglomeration of three coal mines located in Khabarovsk Krai, Russia. It comprises the Bureinsky open-pit mine, the Pravoberezhny open-pit mine, and the Severnaya underground mine. The mining complex is situated in the Verkhnebureinsky District, near the settlements of Chegdomyn and Novy Urgal.
As of the end of 2019, the three mines held coal reserves amounting to 222 million tonnes of coking coal, with an annual production of 6.2 million tonnes of coal in that year. The primary product is coking coal, which is used in metallurgical processes.
The mine is operated by SUEK (Siberian Coal Energy Company), one of Russia's largest coal mining and energy companies. The operation is part of SUEK's activities in the Khabarovsk Krai region.
In 2025, the mine introduced 15 BelAZ-7530G dump trucks with a 220-tonne capacity, described as the highest-capacity mining trucks in the region.
The Russian name for the deposit is Urgalskoye ugolnoye mestorozhdeniye (Ургальское угольное месторождение).
