Ulutürk is a neighbourhood in the municipality and district of Bismil, Diyarbakır Province in Turkey. Its population is 4,612 as of 2022.
Location
Ulutürk is located in the Southeastern Anatolia Region of Turkey, approximately 36 km from the city of Diyarbakır and about 1 km from the district center of Bismil. Its coordinates are 37°51′43″N 40°38′23″E.
History
According to the Turkish Wikipedia entry, the settlement was originally named Darlı when first established. Its name was later changed to Türkdarlı, and finally to Ulutürk.
