Tye Felhaber

Tye Felhaber (born May 15, 1998) is a Canadian professional ice hockey forward. He is primarily recognized for his prolific scoring during his major junior career in the Ontario Hockey League (OHL) and his subsequent professional career in North American minor leagues and European top-tier leagues.

Born in Pembroke, Ontario, Felhaber began his major junior career with the Saginaw Spirit after being selected 10th overall in the 2014 OHL Priority Selection. He played two and a half seasons with Saginaw before being traded to the Ottawa 67's in November 2016. During the 2018–19 OHL season, Felhaber recorded 59 goals and 50 assists for 109 points in 68 games. This performance ranked him among the league's top goal scorers and earned him a selection to the OHL Second All-Star Team.

On March 1, 2019, Felhaber signed a three-year, entry-level contract as an undrafted free agent with the Dallas Stars of the National Hockey League (NHL). He transitioned to professional hockey with the Texas Stars, the Dallas Stars' American Hockey League (AHL) affiliate. During his tenure in the Stars' organization, he also played for the Idaho Steelheads in the ECHL.

In February 2022, Felhaber was traded to the Tampa Bay Lightning organization in exchange for Alexei Lipanov. Following the trade, he was assigned to the Syracuse Crunch of the AHL and also spent time with the Orlando Solar Bears in the ECHL.

After completing his initial professional contracts in North America, Felhaber moved to Europe to continue his career. He has since played for various clubs, including HC Slovan Bratislava in the Slovak Extraliga and spent time in the Czech Extraliga and the GET-ligaen in Norway. Felhaber is characterized as a winger known for his offensive positioning and shooting ability.
