Trichoglossum is a genus of fungi within the division Ascomycota, class Geoglossomycetes, order Geoglossales, and family Geoglossaceae. Members of this genus are commonly referred to as “earth‑tongue” fungi due to the elongated, often club‑shaped fruiting bodies they produce.

Morphology
