Transtillaspis monoloba is a species of moth belonging to the family Tortricidae. It was described by Polish entomologists Józef Razowski and J. Wojtusiak in 2010.
Distribution: The species is found in Peru, specifically recorded from the Department of Huánuco, along the route from Huánuco to Tingo María, in the Carpish area, at an elevation of approximately 2,750 meters (cloud forest habitat).
Description: The wingspan is about 19 mm. The forewings have a brownish-cream ground color overlaid with fine darker streaks (strigulae) and indistinct darker transverse markings. The hindwings are pale grey with slight translucence toward the margins.
Taxonomy: The species belongs to the genus Transtillaspis (tribe Euliini, subfamily Tortricinae), which is native to the Neotropical region, with a distribution centered in the Andean mountains from Venezuela to Argentina.
Type specimen: The holotype is a male deposited at the Museum of Zoology of Jagiellonian University (MZUJ) in Kraków, Poland, collected on January 23, 2003.
