Torre Colpatria

Torre Colpatria is a prominent skyscraper located in Bogotá, the capital city of Colombia. Completed in 1979, it stands in the financial district of the city, specifically in the locality of Santa Fe. The tower was designed by architect Darío Bermúdez and developed by the Colpatria banking consortium, from which it takes its name. Standing at a height of 196 meters (643 feet) with 50 floors, it was the tallest building in Colombia for over three decades until it was surpassed by the BD Bacatá tower in 2016.

The building serves primarily as an office space and is notable for its illuminated façade, which frequently displays colored lighting patterns to mark national holidays, social campaigns, or international events. It features an observation deck on the 48th floor, open to the public, offering panoramic views of Bogotá and the surrounding Andean landscape.

Torre Colpatria is considered a symbol of Bogotá's urban and economic development during the late 20th century and remains one of the city's most recognizable landmarks.
