Tom McCullough (born 22 September 1975) is a British automotive engineer specializing in Formula One. He is currently the Performance Director of Aston Martin Performance Technologies and previously held the same role at the Aston Martin F1 Team.
Early life and education
McCullough competed in amateur motorsport while studying automotive engineering at university, participating in Formula Ford 2000 events. After three seasons as a driver, he transitioned to engineering.
Career
Reynard Motorsport (late 1990s–2002) – McCullough began his professional engineering career at Reynard Motorsport, initially working on Le Mans projects for Panoz and Cadillac. He later moved to the company’s IndyCar research and development department, gaining experience in high‑performance race car design.
Formula One (2002–present) – Following Reynard’s closure in 2002, McCullough entered Formula One, holding engineering positions with several teams, including Williams and Sauber.
