Tokur, Russia

Tokur (Russian: Токур) is an urban locality (a work settlement) situated in Selemdzhinsky District of Amur Oblast, Russia. It is classified as an urban-type settlement within the administrative hierarchy of the Russian Federation.

Geography
Tokur is located in the southeastern part of the Amur Oblast, within the area of the Selemdzha Range. The settlement lies at coordinates 53°08′ N 132°53′ E (approximately 53.133° N, 132.883° E).

Population
According to census data, Tokur had a population of 1,091 inhabitants in the 2010 All‑Russian Population Census. Earlier censuses recorded 1,171 residents in 2002 and 2,452 residents in 1989.
