Tim McIntosh (baseball)

Timothy "Tim" Joe McIntosh (born March 21, 1965) is a former American professional baseball player. He played primarily as a catcher and outfielder during his career, appearing in Major League Baseball (MLB) for parts of four seasons with the Milwaukee Brewers, Toronto Blue Jays, and New York Yankees. McIntosh batted and threw right-handed.

McIntosh was drafted by the Milwaukee Brewers in the 17th round of the 1986 Major League Baseball draft out of the University of Florida. He spent several years in the Brewers' minor league system before making his MLB debut on April 12, 1990. He played 25 games with the Brewers in 1990 and 51 games in 1991, primarily as a backup catcher.

In 1992, McIntosh joined the Toronto Blue Jays organization and appeared in 27 games for their MLB team. He later signed with the New York Yankees, playing in 18 games for them in 1994. Across his major league career, he accumulated 121 games played, hitting 3 home runs and recording 22 runs batted in with a career batting average of .227.

Following his major league career, McIntosh continued to play in the minor leagues, including stints in the Atlanta Braves and Montreal Expos organizations, until 1996. After retiring as a player, he remained involved in baseball, including coaching and managing roles in independent league baseball and youth baseball programs.
