Tim Harrington is an American singer, musician, and artist, best known as the flamboyant frontman of the indie rock band Les Savy Fav. Born in Washington, D.C., Harrington's dynamic stage presence and often whimsical, improvised costumes are a hallmark of Les Savy Fav's live performances, distinguishing them within the alternative music scene.
Harrington co-founded Les Savy Fav in 1995 while attending the Rhode Island School of Design (RISD). The band quickly gained recognition for their energetic shows and post-punk inspired sound, releasing several critically acclaimed albums including The Cat and the Cobra, Go Forth, and Let's Stay Friends.
