Thomas Ludindi Mwadeghu is a Kenyan politician who served as a Member of Parliament (MP) representing the Wundanyi Constituency in Taita Taveta County. He is a prominent member of the Orange Democratic Movement (ODM).
Mwadeghu first entered the National Assembly following the 2007 Kenyan general election. He secured a second term in the 2013 general election. During the 11th Parliament (2013–2017), he held the significant leadership position of Minority Chief Whip in the National Assembly, representing the Coalition for Reforms and Democracy (CORD) alliance. In this role, he was responsible for party discipline and mobilizing members for parliamentary votes.
In 2017, Mwadeghu transitioned from legislative politics to pursue the executive role of Governor for Taita Taveta County. He won the ODM party primary but was unsuccessful in the general election, losing the seat to Granton Samboja.
Throughout his political career, Mwadeghu has been involved in various parliamentary committees, including those focused on public accounts and local authorities. He is recognized for his long-standing affiliation with the ODM party and his influence in the politics of the Coast region of Kenya.
