Thomas Everett (born October 25, 1964) is a former American professional football player who played as a safety in the National Football League (NFL). He is best known for his ten-season career with the Dallas Cowboys (1990–1995) and Seattle Seahawks (1996–1999). Everett earned three Pro Bowl selections and was a member of two Super Bowl–winning teams with the Cowboys (Super Bowls XXVII and XXVIII).
Early life and education
- Born in Longview, Texas, Everett attended Longview High School, where he played high school football as a defensive back.
- He enrolled at the University of Texas at Austin, playing for the Texas Longhorns football team from 1984 to 1987. During his collegiate career, Everett was a three-year starter and earned All-Southwest Conference honors in his senior year.
