A member of the liberal party [[Venstre]], he has been a [[Member of Parliament|Member of the Folketing]] (Danish Parliament) for the Vestjyllands Storkreds constituency since 22 September 2011.

Early life and education

Thomas Danielsen was born on 17 June 1983 in [[Ringkøbing]], Denmark. He trained as an electrician and worked in the profession before pursuing a career in politics.

Political career

Danielsen was first elected to the [[Folketing]] in the [[2011 Danish general election]], representing the Vestjyllands Storkreds constituency. During his time as an MP, he held various spokesperson roles for Venstre, including spokesperson for transport, energy, and climate.

On 15 December 2022, Danielsen was appointed Minister for Transport in the [[Mette Frederiksen III cabinet]], a grand coalition government formed by the [[Social Democrats (Denmark)|Social Democrats]], Venstre, and the [[The Moderates|Moderates]].
