Thomas Chalers, also known as Thomas Deschalers (17 September 1383 – 1443), of Whaddon, Cambridgeshire and Wyddial, Hertfordshire, was an English politician and member of Parliament.
Family
Chalers was the son and heir of Sir John Chalers, who was also an MP. He married a woman named Margaret at some point before May 1407. The couple had one son, Sir John Chalers, who also served as a member of Parliament.
Career
Thomas Chalers served as a member of the Parliament of England for Cambridgeshire in 1417. He was also selected as High Sheriff of Cambridgeshire and Huntingdonshire for the year 1426–27.
Historical Significance
