This Is a Wasteland is a documentary film following the American rock band Pierce the Veil's first world tour. It was directed by Dan Fusselman and produced by MotionArmy. The documentary was released as a direct-to-DVD bonus disc on November 11, 2013 in the United States, accompanying a reissue of the band's third studio album, Collide with the Sky (2012). It was released worldwide on November 25, 2013.

The camera work was handled by Dan Fusselman (United States, United Kingdom, and South America) and Josiah van Dien (Australia and Southeast Asia). The inlay photographs were taken by photographer Adam Elmakias. The DVD is only available in the English language.
Content
The documentary follows Pierce the Veil during their first world tour in support of Collide with the Sky. It begins with shows in Southeast Asia, followed by their first appearance at the Soundwave Festivals in Australia, a U.S. tour with All Time Low, a club tour in the United Kingdom, their first appearances at Rock am Ring and Rock im Park in Germany, and concludes with their first concert tour in South America.
The film includes footage from performances at international music festivals such as Soundwave Festival, Rock am Ring, Rock im Park, and Slam Dunk Festival, as well as shows in Southeast Asia, the United States, Brazil, Chile, Mexico, Argentina, and the United Kingdom. It also documents the band's appearance at the 2013 Kerrang! Awards in London and provides insight into the band's hectic life on the road.
The DVD additionally features the music videos for "Bulls in the Bronx," "Hell Above," and "King for a Day"—the latter of which won a Kerrang! Award for Best Music Video in 2013.
Release and reception
The documentary was released as a bonus disc for the reissue of Collide with the Sky, selling 30,000 copies in its first week, which resulted in the album re-entering the US Billboard 200 chart at number 62. In 2014, the documentary won a Revolver Golden Gods Award for Best Video/DVD.
