Thiotricha pancratiastis

Thiotricha pancratiastis is a species of moth in the family Gelechiidae. It was first described by the British entomologist Edward Meyrick in 1921.

Description
The adult moth has an approximate wingspan of 10 mm. The forewings are predominantly white and feature a series of dark fuscous markings, including a basal costal line that expands into an irregular blotch covering the costal half of the wing up to three‑quarters of its length. Additional markings comprise oblique white strigae, metallic‑blue tinged lines, and several triangular spots extending from the dorsum toward the fold. The apical region of the forewing is tawny fuscous with three short whitish marks before the apex, a round black apical dot, and a pale metallic‑blue dot. The hindwings are grey, bearing a blackish apical dot surrounded by whitish suffusion.

Distribution
Thiotricha pancratiastis has been recorded in Japan and the Assam region of India.
